BOUNYOU PAPHATSARANG
Bon Paphatsatang began learning his skills at the age of 9 while assisting in his father's import / export jewelry business in Thailand. He was already a master in the arts by age 18 when he began his teaching career! Southern California has been blessed and fortunate to have him teach in the area for the past 22 years. He teaches regularly through Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) and Baldwin Park Adult Community and Education (BPACE) inspiring all students fortunate to attend.
Bon is consistently in demand for private workshops and classes. He conducts sessions at Saddle Back, El Camino, and Pasadena City Colleges to name a few. He is also a regular instructor for creative workshops at Farrin O'Connor's Design Studio in Pasadena. In addition he also provides consulting services in the jewelry trade.
His talent, skills, and knowledge are truly amazing, earning him international recognition in metal arts. He is literally a "walking encyclopedia" and "master craftsman" covering all techniques, from "A" to "Z", involved in metal arts, jewelry production and design!.......a remarkable person.
